אוֹדְךָ בָעַמִּים יְה וַאֲזַמֶּרְךָ בַּל־אֻמִּים

OWDKHau VauAMiYM YAH!

WaAZaMeRKHau BaLUMiYM!

I will give thanks unto thee O ETERNAL ONE, when I’m among the peoples,

And I will sing praises unto you, when I’m among the nations.

T’HiLiYM (Psalms) 108:3

No matter what happens. No matter the challenges. No matter how heavy (reread the last word in verse one) the burden or weight is on us, our saving grace as a HIS people, has always been our trust in the principle that ALL WILL WORK OUT IN DUE TIME. This is a divine principle, serving as just one of the many principles emanating from The Creator of All ( Yah YisraÉL). It, by itself, is profound, for, if applied consistently and diligently, it is endowed with the capability to guide a man to success. Loyalty to this principle is a genuine commitment to the highest calling.

OWDKHAU! I will give thanks unto thee!

A definitive statement. An affirmation. A promise to do - and to execute that calling often. A commitment to never cease from doing so. A commitment to honor our culture. A devotion to value HIS people – our brethren and our sistren. A vow to not only hold HIM in the highest esteem and to truly honor his position as HaÉL ÉLYON (The Highest Power) but to value all those that are HIS. To be able to show, through our actions, our gratitude for HIM. To display, through our times of singing, and joyfulness, our gratitude for HIS blessings over us and ours is a measure of our devotion.

Ask yourself this. How often do you sing? How often are the songs you sing – songs of praise to OUR CREATOR? To take it further – How often do you think? How often are the thoughts of your heart – thoughts that consider the goodness and greatness of THE MAKER OF ALL?

Now…how does this play out when you’re amongst others? Are you excited about engaging with one of HIS chosen people – or are you treating HIS as one of the uncircumcised? What about when you’re amongst the goyiym (people not of YisraÉL)? If you never opened your mouth and they just observed you for one full month – would they be able to identify you as someone that represented righteousness? If they were without sight and only listened to the words you used interacting with others – would they be able to declare that you are giving thanks unto THE ETERNAL or that you are singing praises unto HIM – even when amongst the nations?

When Dauwiyd (Dawid) our great father (blessed be his memory) penned the lyrics to this song, and no doubt had it performed within his majestic chambers, he imagined a world filled with the essence of The Eternal. He also knew that every person under the name of YisraÉL was endowed with the capacity to create, just by the words we used. He was also well aware of the secret formula. What we say is what will be done and likewise, what our hearts think is what we’ll say. The key to the secret was then and still remains the belief in the principle that with THE ETERNAL - ALL WILL WORK OUT IN DUE TIME. Family! I challenge you to challenge yourselves. Love one another. And remember love is an action that is longsuffering; a concept that would not be so true if not wrapped up in our closeness to The Way directed by THE EVERLASTING ONE - HE who created and exemplifies the very concept of love.

Peace be to you. Peace be to your house. And peace be unto all that is yours!
